Oro Wines & Spirits is a trading name of Trinewine Ltd. Below, we have listed out our terms and conditions, based on which you can buy wine from us or use our web site, and by registering on the web site you are agreeing to be bound by them. Although, they are written in small print, we hope you will agree that they are designed to be fair to you and to us. We may change these from time to time by updating this posting. If there is anything you do not understand, just pick up the phone and speak to one of our advisors, or drop us an email – we will be more than happy to clarify.Please note, calls may be monitored and recorded for training purposes.
1.1 By placing an order with Oro Wines & Spirits U.K, you are confirming that you are 18 or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 and we treat your order as confirmation that you are indeed over 18.
1.2 If you are buying wine as a gift, the recipient must also be over 18. If our delivery firm are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will not be able to leave the wine and you will be charged for re-delivery.
1.3 When you give Oro Wines & Spirits your credit or debit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card for the purpose of ordering wine.
1.4 We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfil for any reason. Naturally if your order is cancelled we will contact you immediately to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.
1.5 For your own safety we reserve the right to contact your card issuer for the purposes of carrying out security checks.
1.7 Products offered by us are displayed on our website(s) in 'real time'. This is to say that any product may be withdrawn from offer without notice.
1.8 If for some reason we are unable to fulfil your exact order, we reserve the right to substitute up to 3 bottles with similar wines of at least the same value as the wine you ordered. This includes vintage changes. Of course, the 3 substitute bottles are covered by our money back guarantee as set out below. If we need to substitute more than 3 bottles in any one order, we will put your order on hold and contact you for further instructions.
We offer the following delivery options, according to the category of wine or other product or service you’ve purchased.
2.1 U.K DELIVERY
• Standard Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes takes 3-5 working days and costs £7.50+ for orders under £85. Orders over £85 are offered with free Standard Delivery only if processed online (i.e. not telephone or emailed orders).
• Express Delivery is available for most mainland UK postcodes. We will inform you via email if we cannot make express delivery to your postcode.
• Express Delivery is available for £12.50, or £5 for orders over £85 if processed online.
• For Express Delivery (next working day) orders need to be placed before 1pm. Orders placed after 1pm will be received after two business days. Orders placed for next day delivery after 1pm on a Friday and before 1pm on a Monday will be delivered on Tuesday. Orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be similarly processed the day after the Bank Holiday and delivered the following day.
• Same Day Delivery is available for £15. This option is available to most London postcodes, if ordered by 11am Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If ordered after 11am, you will receive your order on the next working day. We may be able to organize a special courier for you, so please call or email us if you have special requests.
2.2 INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
International deliveries are subject to international delivery fees specific for each country, which will be added at checkout based on the country of your delivery address. To find out more about International Delivery fees please email email@example.com
3.1 If you post a comment on any of the comment walls around the site (i.e. in the recommended section, in the comments, in the membership section or on any of our social areas), your comments will be in the public domain and will therefore be visible to anyone who visits the site. Please refrain from offensive, vulgar, rude or intimidating comments.
3.2 Oro Wines & Spirits reserves the right to amend or delete any inappropriate comments.
Breakages - In the event that any of the bottles in your case are broken or damaged in transit, please let us know, via email or phone, within reasonable period of time and we will credit your account, within 30 days of your notifying us, with the price you paid for the damaged bottles or product or a proportion of the total case price representing the proportion of the case contents which has been damaged in the event of a case of wines sold with a case. Any product returned must be adequately packed to avoid any possible damage.
If you are unhappy with a product you have purchased online (other than perishable products such as confectionary), please let us know, via email or phone, within 7 days after the day following the delivery of the goods, and we will either refund you or credit your account with the price you paid. If the wine you don’t like happens to be one of several bottles of the same wine, please don’t drink the others, just put them to one side. Once you notify us then either we’ll arrange to come and collect them as soon as we can or you will have to arrange a delivery back to us in good condition. We may choose to charge you with the delivery charge of unwanted products.
If you are unhappy with products purchased online (other than perishable products such as confectionary) which are not faulty, we will happily refund your money, or exchange the products if you inform us within 7 days after the day following the delivery of the goods. In this event, the products must be returned to us in good condition. We will make reimbursements within 30 days of cancellation. Any product returned must be within its original packaging. (Unfortunately we cannot pay for the delivery charge of unwanted products.)
However, if any products that we send to you are faulty or damaged we will replace them or reimburse you for the expense, including the cost of delivery, if you prefer. If products are faulty or damaged, we require that you tell us within a reasonable time of receipt of the products. All refunds and reimbursements will be paid within 30 days of your notifying us of your wish to return the products. Any product returned must be adequately packed to avoid any possible damage.
a. You may cancel your order for any reason whatsoever at any time up to 14 working days from the day after the date you receive your wine, provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact.
b. In order to cancel your order you must notify us by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
c. We shall reimburse the price of the wine within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation. It is your responsibility to hold onto the wine and take reasonable care of it until we come to collect it.
